Contracts Supervisor – Underfloor Heating

TCS are recruiting a Contracts Supervisor to join our busy and expanding team. The successful applicant would be assisting our underfloor heating director in running various projects across London and the South East.
TCS carry out underfloor heating, screeding and floor finishes. This role is based with the core being underfloor heating however you will be required to supervise and manage all aspects of TCS' works when required. Training provided.
You should have experience with the following:
- Site Construction programmes – ensuring timelines/targets are adhered too
- Ordering materials as required to the specification of the projects assigned.
- Booking in labour for works planned.
- Carrying out QC checks via tablet.
- How to effectively deal with Site Managers
- How to effectively handle confrontations that may arise on site
- How to carry out direct supervision of operatives ensuring works are carried out in a safe, compliant, effective and efficient manner
- How to monitor site operatives’ performance
- Understanding of Site Health & Safety
- Planning to ensure resource is available for the workload
- Attend and participate in internal management and programming meetings
- How to ensure Measurement, Record Sheets and Incident and Accident Report Forms are fully completed if applicable
- Proactively work with customers to ensure the site and workload is running smoothly
- How to manage onsite deliveries
- How to manage onsite sub-contractors
Skills required:
- Pro-active and have a hands on approach
- Forward thinking / problem solving
- Knowledge of flooring, screeding and underfloor heating would be an advantage but not essential
- Full driving licence
- CSCS Card (GOLD preferred)
- SSSTS
